    I have a quick question. Should I go ahead and apply for my wife's I131 – Advanced payroll too with her 485/EAD. The way I understand 485/EAD/AP is as soon as she gets her EAD, she would want to work and in that case it would be recommended to have a AP too. People suggest that AP should/can be applied later on but I do not see any benefit in saving 6 months/170$.


    Also let me add that my wife will be in US from August 10th to August 26th and then November 10th. As you have to be in country till AP approval should i defer applying her AP now. She is currently on H4.

    Please suggest.

    It's too late. BEC already cleared 80% of the cases by now. Only 40000 cases left in BEC as per Oh.

    i have it on Nikon mount, and one of the samples i tested had a back focus issue. i just bought the one that didnt. Sigma is real good at fixing/replacing defective lenses

    I have to agree with that, I did send it back to Sigma and 3 weeks later it was fixed and now I seem to have focussing issues with my A700 and a couple lenses that seem to work fine on my A300 but this Sigma works really well on the A700 and A300.

    Hello gang! I have a quick question! Has anyone had issues with the prevailing wage being too low? The attorneys requested the prevailing wage from the SWA and it came back really high twice, so they then submitted a private wage survey that my company conducted with a reputable firm and it was rejected. The attorneys have said that they will now appeal the case directly to DOL. Has anyone had to go through this? If so, how long does appealing to DOL take? And, any info on success rate with the appeals to DOL?

    Any info would be extremely appreciated! Thanks in advance guys!! :)

    USCIS does not give a damn they are a govt agency that sift through paper very slowly every day. What makes you think they have a conscience and they will suddenly feel bad for you?

(You'll be surprised at the positive response you will get from such businesses- I had my reservations at first, but when I approached a temple sometime back, the temple officer appreciated the efforts made by us for such a "great cause"- his own words).

    I have neither received a receipt nor checks have been encashed. My attorney has not received any july 2nd filed cases receipts. Its a pretty big law firm.

    Dear All,

    Can someone tell me how long it takes to get 485 filing receipt? Who gets it ,you or the lawyer? What information should a responsible lawyer pass to you after 485 is filed?

    Please let me know. It would be good information for everyone.

    Hi,

    Can we apply for a new EAD/AP after they expire?

    If so, what is the difference b/w applying for an extension vs. a new one in terms of fees/documents/photos/etc.?

    The reason being I already spent $1000 for EAD/AP last yr. but never used it, and now I have bear all H1 (extension) expenses as well as employer sucked all my blood & is after my limbs after 8 years of slavery. On top of that has stopped paying salary since April.

    Hence I am trying to cut corners whenever wherever possible. Any responses or help greatly appreciated.

    How can I transfer a raw file into a jpg file in Photoshop? It only give me a few options-tiff., phtshp, ect... I want to upload a few pics and can't figure it out.

    SKIL provisions were included in S.2611 by the way of adopting manager's ammendment.
    Therefore the official death of the CIR bill was crucial for the fate of the SKIL bill, as it couldn't be picked up by the Senate as long as the CIR was pending with the House.
